Preserved Foundations: A Kitchen Renewed with Rustic Continuity

This project was a kitchen shaped through careful preservation and thoughtful renewal. Rather than replacing the space entirely, the design builds upon the character already present - retaining the original tiles, familiar textiles, and the lived-in structure of the room.

The restored lower cabinets anchor the kitchen with their warm wood tones, while newly introduced upper cabinetry brings lightness and clarity to the composition. This dialogue between old and new allows the kitchen’s rustic influence to remain intact, while subtle updates refine its function and atmosphere.

The result is a balanced, welcoming space where the memory of the original kitchen continues to live within a refreshed and harmonious interior.
